At Island Elixir Tea Company, our mission is to cultivate a kind and compassionate world, one cup of tea at a time. We are dedicated to crafting beautiful teas that inspire you to pause and infuse calm into your daily life. Our tea blends are lovingly crafted to prioritize both flavour and feeling, thoughtfully incorporating organically grown and locally sourced ingredients then packaged with care for the planet. With every sip, our teas offer a taste experience meticulously curated to delight the palate and nurture the spirit.

We source a combination of local, spray-free local, and certified organic herbs and teas to incorporate into our tea blends. These are small-batch blended and packaged in our licensed Langford facility. The packaging you see is all made from wood - the bags are wood cellulose (a technology that dates back to 1908 and Swiss inventor Jacques E. Brandenberger) and home compostable* and the labels printed on FSC paper.

*Although they meet industrial compost standards (ASTM D6400), we do not industrially compost 'compostable plastics' in BC. Sigh. So these you have to put in your backyard compost pile. If you don't have one, they will have to go in the bin but feel good knowing that at least they are coming from a renewable and sustainably managed resource.
